Early morning walk on Mardon.

This morning I woke early and met my sister for a walk on Mardon Down. The mist was still lying, waiting for the warmth of the sun to carry it away.
What a beautiful start to the day. Marvelous views, fresh air and a good old natter!

Everywhere I go now I take my camera...just in case I spot something to snap at like this spider waiting for its breakfast or the solitary heather.

I'm enjoying blogging so much and was talking to a friend about it yesterday. We agreed that it must be a kind of therapy. Better than keeping a diary because I can use my photos.

The long road home........

and back to the sewing machine!

Oh Lucy, you really are so lucky to live in the most wonderful part of the world and to be able to share it with your sister must make it extra special!

I really love this last picture of the sun rising just behind the tree and the light reflecting in the water on the road.
