I don't think there is a finer fabric. I love it. Always have. Always will.
It reminds me of the past, the country side and man! I don't mean a specific man just "man" in general. I wish more men would wear tweed. In fact I wish more men would stop wearing children's clothes full stop and start dressing....well....more like men!
Here a few gorgeous examples of what I think a man should wear.
I love the earthy tones of the chap on the lefts suit and his cap and the other chaps moustache. They are both rather dashing.
Also love tweed mixed with corduroy....could do with a cap though.
I've left the best to last! Tweed with rolled up shirt sleeves....it doesn't get any better than that in my opinion! My knees are trembling!!
Anyway, to cut a long story short I've been working with a gorgeous British tweed. Just wondering if I shouldn't have used it for a male mannequin?? but then I couldn't have used a corset and laced back...so there you have it.
