hanging on my wall today

i love picking up original works of art.  i hang them on my walls, some stay forever, others i sell on the web but I love all of them.
i picked up these stunning oil paintings a few months ago.

i think they are fabulous!  the textures are amazing...thick heavy waves of cracking, flaking oil paint.   obviously based on Van Gogh's Sunflowers.  perhaps they were painted by a student, a housewife or a pensioner.
i found them at the tip...can't believe what people throw away.
my paintings move around my house until they find the perfect spot but i think these should be grouped together on one wall....what do you think?
have a great weekend, Lucyxx

I think these are amazing! What luck for you to find them. What luck also that you rescued them. I wonder at their history. Perhaps an art student trying to emulate van Gogh's series of sunflowers which he painted from fresh to dying. Many years ago I saw some of the van Goghs sunflowers series together at the Hayward Gallery in London. I was almost blown away. Previously I had thought there was only one "Sunflowers". Yours are a tribute, maybe from an amateur hand, but how glorious!

What a lucky find....how can people just throw things away?
You must find a place for your oil paintings and yes, grouped together would look really good.
Well done!
