I blame it on the Cath Kidston catalogue...

...and my children who convinced me that our kitchen chairs needed painting in bright and cheerful colours.

What do you think?  My girls have painted them with me popping in and out every so often pointng out drips and runs!  My girls are 11 and 13 so I wasn't expecting a great job but they have done really well.  Still one more coat to do...um wonder if the novelty will have worn off?

I love the colours and they will certainly brighten up the kitchen on a dull winters day.  I just hope my head will cope!
thanks Cath!!!

Great colours - don't know about that red in your face first thing in the morning, but the others are bliss. YOu can always drape a shirt over that red shirt when you start feeling jittery! I used to have an orange wall in my kitchen. It looked straight out of a mag. When I took it away, I realised how tense it was making feel.. Feng Shui anyone?

I love those chairs and it will definately brighten up a winters day or any other dull day. Your lucky to had help or else it would have been a job to regret after the first chair.
